Accommodation
Cedar Valley Accommodation
Cedar Valley is located in the Meon Valley and offers glamping and camping on the private estate of Bereleigh.
The glamping collection includes a several luxury cabins, as well as Betty the Bedford, a restored horse lorry. Our campsites are relaxed and spacious, and have beautiful surroundings.
All our guests are welcome to enjoy ‘The Dell’ – our cafe, bar and restaurant, nestled in a cluster of beech trees in a prime sun spot! We serve delicious wood-fired, sourdough pizzas as well as Hampshire’s celebrated beer and cider throughout the summer months.
Bereleigh House
Bereleigh House is a house designed for entertaining and provides the perfect setting in which to host shooting parties, charity events, corporate days or special family occasions. The beautiful gardens provide the perfect location for marquees while the house itself can accommodate up to 16 guests in 8 bedrooms.
Things to do
Located between the villages of East and West Meon, Cedar Valley is well placed for pubs, village shops and an award winning local butcher – Buckinghams Artisian Butchery.
There are also plenty of activities including visits to the houses of Jane Austin in Chawton and Gilbert White in Selborne.
It takes half an hour to get to Goodwood – famous for horse and motor racing and there are several meetings throughout the summer.
Goodwood also has 2 golf courses and there are many other courses within easy reach.
The pretty market town of Petersfield is 6 miles away and markets are held in the square every Wednesday and Saturday. The historical city of Winchester with its magnificent cathedral is 12 miles, Chichester is about 18 miles, and Portsmouth with the historic naval dockyard is only 12 miles. From Portsmouth Harbour you can hop on board a ferry and do a day trip to the Isle of Wight.

The Thomas Lord, West Meon
If you fancy a good walk followed by a pint of good local ale and extremely good food this is the place to go. Very pretty beer garden (complete with chickens). Sunday afternoons grab a pizza made freshly in the wood fired outdoor pizza oven.

Within a 45 minute hill top walk complete with stunning views Ye Olde George Inn is ideal for lunches – serving decent food and real ale.

The same 45 minute hilltop walk you will the Izaak Walton. Located in the heart of the village and beside the River Meon, good food and selection of ales including Doom Bar!
